John Fitzgerald is a stone sculptor who resides in Chester County, PA. He apprenticed with J. Dugan, an accomplished stone sculptor for over 20 years. John utilizes some of the rarest and most intricate stones from all around the world into his masterpieces.
He accentuates his work by incorporating the coloring of the matrix present in the stone that has taken thousands of years to formulate these beautiful colors and designs. He keeps his designs simple but at the same time interesting from whatever angle you look at his work. Each piece has no less than one year from design phase to its completion.
John collaborated with a talented scupltor named Jay Dugan, producing many large sculptures together. John and Jay Dugan also generously donated many large pieces to universities to provide over 40 people with scholarships (see larger works). John is very passionate about art and creativity, and generously donates his time to elementary schools. He inspires children to find their creative outlet and experience the same joy he gets from his work.
